Blizzcon – Blizzard Announces “World of CandyCrush – The Lollipop Saga”
November 7, 2015 5:29 am
In a move surprising absolutely nobody, gaming titan Activision Blizzard announced their newest project today from the floor of their annual convention: World of CandyCrush – The Lollipop Saga.
Unlike their current MMO mainstay World of Warcraft, WoCC is best played in what Blizzard devs are calling “micro-sessions” —— gameplay sessions of 30 seconds or less.
“Our target audience is drastically different from your typical online game,” says a Blizzard dev tasked with starting up the project. “We’re looking to cater to a more mature crowd. Obviously we’re sticking with the core mechanics that make Candy Crush such a spectacular phenomenon, like exploding fruit and micro transactions. We hope to bring that Blizzard polish to the title, as well as add some great features like PvP and Fruit Dungeons you can puzzle through with your friends.”
